Man my lucky day a new song by Rodrica and is so excellent.
This is a great example of excellent songwriting. Excellent expression in your singing. I really love the chorus and the harmonies that are in it. This is also such a fantastic quality recording and the guitar playing is awesome too.
I've been wanting to hear more Rodrica and this is just bloody excellent and I have no doubt that my 1st comment will be the 1st of Hundreds!!!

Very good vocals!
Perfectly in pitch, and I can sense the feeling in them. 
The chorus is brillant.
Love the bridge too...
I like the overall sad feeling, that the chord progression creates.

What a great surprise.. A newbie from Dmusics number 1 lady.
.. and it was worth the wait.
You have this tremendous knack of coming up with great hooks in your songs ... I'll be singing 'godnight, goodnight Alice' all night long now.. 
Great mix, Your voice is spot on. Very relaxed but with lots of emotion... I love those backing vocals..
Is that you playing the guitar solo Rod..? so well constructed.
You really have put a lot of thought and imagination into this and it shows.

I like that keyboard backing, and the sure way the percussion fits the song, lays down a steady beat and doesn't overwhelm the vox. The vocals are well done and mixed just right. A good melody, an interesting lyric.

Great bit of songwriting. Does have that sort of psychological horror theme that you do so well from time to time. Great drum sound on this. Very distinctive vocals, great voice. Very disitinctive and unique style. This was well worth the wait.

....finally got a listen on the "real" stereo and I was right, perfect mix. Loving the vocals for sure. Excellent arrangement. All the backing parts are tastefully done. Catchy chorus as with most of your tracks. Guitar could have been a wee bit louder on second listen, but nothing major. Very pro production carries this tune. This will make your greatest hits cd for sure. Well done, Lady.

great intro/drum break...
This has a great POP sound...
Vocals lead & background are very catchy and the melody has a memorable hook, all the ingredients for a winner!
During the solo,the guitar tone actually reminds me of "Daryl Stuermer" (Genesis)did you hire him Rodrica???
This is one of the best I have heard from you yet...

i've been grooving to this for a few weeks now and finally got around to commenting...
first, the song aside...what a cool theme for a song in the first place!
the vocal harmonies are superb
this is got a darkish sorta atmosphere to it, a new thing for you, i've heard ya spunky, but never this moody, it works great for you

I feel so bad that I had missed this. I am blown away here, the lyrics are written so well. "A mirror shatters in her hand, another seven years are planned." I love that line. You have this exceptional gift for writing very catchy chorus'. This one sounds really awesome. I love your vocals. You have a captivating feel to your voice, its very enjoyable. Def one of your best! Really gotta mention the drums, which fit the rest of this piece like a glove. Also, your chord progressions are extremely interesting, they've got a really creepy vibe to them, which works really well w/ the lyrics. this reminds me of this really goofy rock movie called, "rock and rule". It had a iggy pop/bowie evil guy, and this sweet little kitten girl saves the world with her voice. You sound like her, in spirit, and a bit of the blondie-influence. I don't want to cheapen voice by directly comparing it to the blondie woman, but it does have some of that same power.
A very relaxed feel, with a push on the stress that the drums create. cool effect.

In answer to the last question on the solo - It's a Line 6 Variax guitar (set up with one of it's more mellow tones) through a Marshall amp and Line 6 stomp box. Sent through a tube preamp (fairly hard driven tube) then mixed further with various Rev 500 effects backed up by a keyboard. Wish you hadn't asked now!?

This is brilliant, I really like the lyrics; especially "Once a time ago, twilight shades of indigo..." I really like that part. The vocals are brilliant and really suit this song, they just sound so brilliant. I quite like the keyboard patch and the drum/bass. I like the guitar too, the solo suits the song a lot. I really like this, the songwriting is amazing!

Absolutely enchanting voice I'm captivated by the chorus, the lead vocals and backing vocals work so well together I'm definately liking the feeling created in the chorus. I love when that beat kicks! Great drums... And of course, I gotta once again compliment you on your vocals. And damn...YET AGAIN!!! Your backing is terrific!!! Such a dreamy sound, hot damn. This chorus is just...wow...The thing that blows me away most about your singing are the melodies you pick. Your vocal melodies have much variety, and I totally respect that. It goes to show that you put in effort towards building a GOOD song, instead of just throwing it together. Very very very very nice job with this track..
